Avenues of Lakeshore

I have been here one week only and so far so good. The staff and Josh who was my leasing agent was amazing. I filled out the application with the amazing deal that was going on and then I called a week letter and was approved and a couple days after that I had a welcome letter and two weeks I was getting the keys to my apartment. The process was quick and easy and Josh was very outgoing and understanding. The tour was amazing and when I picked up my keys my actual apartment was amazing. It’s very big and spacious. The community is quiet and very friendly and in the center of everything. Three minutes away from grocery stores, fast foods. Anyway. The staff and Josh I can’t thank them enough.

From the time we applied to getting approved, Vanessa, our leasing agent made the whole move-in process a breeze and was really a sweet soul. You can tell she is really passionate about what she does and cares about her residents. If you ever have a chance to speak with her about your moving or your residential experience, she won’t disappoint you or let you down. The only reason why I’m giving 3 stars is because I feel like the customer service could be better. I feel like when you have concerns or might need something, you’re almost like pulling teeth because you have to constantly call or email until the problem is resolved. However, if they need something from you, they want to send multiple emails and make phone calls, so it’s a lot of either miscommunication or either lack of communication. Also, we have had issues with other putting their trash in our trash can. Aside from that, when the trash valet service people come to pick up trash, they don’t always get our trash and we always have our trash outside before 6pm on Sundays-Thursdays when they pickup.It’s like they just skip our unit and move onto other units.

The Avenues of Lakeshore is a great place to live! Aside from its great location, the management team is the office is always friendly and ready to help. The maintenance team is prompt, respectful and never leaves a mess in my home if they come in for maintenence (thanks LaDarius). I would absolutely recommend this living community!

My experience was a pleasant one. The staff was very friendly. Natalie took me around the property to view the apartment. It was hard to choose from because I loved them both. She showed me how much they actually care about the residents here at The Avenues. Quiet, clean, exercise room, pools and pet friendly. Natalie’s attitude and personality alone sold me. One of the best decisions I have made.

Horrible apartment complex, bad water pressure, loud pool parties from people who don't even live in the complex, grounds are not kept up, hallways are dirty from residents' trash, and gym equipment broken. They will not give you back your full security deposit I was charged for a large trash bag outside my door when I've been putting trash outside my door for the 3 years l lived there and also charged for covering up a hole in the wall with sheet rock from my TV being mounted on the wall.
